Steps to do the "Disk Defragment"

• Step 1. At your "DeskTop", double click on "Windows Explorer" or "My Documents"
• Step 2. At the new window, please click on "Folders"

• Step 3.  At the window of "My Documents", click on "My Computer" at your left hand side

Now, you will see the list of folders under "My Computer" (See Figure 3)

• Step 4. Put your mouse over the line "Local Disk (C):" and right click on it. You will see a list of items come up. (See Figure 4)

• Step 5. Scroll down to the end and click on "Properties". A new window will be opened called "Local Disk (C): Properties".

• Step 6. At the properties window, please click on "Tools" , then click on "Defragment Now"(See Figure 5). A new window called "Disk Defragmenter" will be opened.

• At the window of "Disk Defragmenter"

  • click on "Analyze" --> "View report" --> "Defragment"; Or

  • click "Defragment" to start the disk Defragment immediately.

• Congratulations! You are done.
