Steps to set the best performance

Step 1. Click on "Start" on the bottom left of your screen and click on "Control Panel" to open a new window.

Step 2. At the new window of "Control Panel", click on "Systems" (Figure 1). A "System Properties" window will be opened.

Step 3. Click on "Advance" at the window of "System Properties" (Figure 2).

 

Step 4. Click on "Settings" under "Performance" (Figure 3).

Step 5. Under "Virtual Effects," click on "Adjust for best performance," then click on "Advanced" at the same window of "Performance Options".

 

Step 6. Click on "Change" under "Virtual Memory" (Figure 5), a new window will open called "Virtual Memory".

 

Step 7. Click on "Custom Size" under "Paging file size for selected drive" at the window of "Virtual Memory", and change the number at the box of "initial size" to whatever the number shows at the box of "Maximum Size".

Step 8. Click "OK" to close all the windows. Congratulations! You are done.
